SUMMARY:WP4: YOUTH SECTOR WITHIN THE GREEN TRANSITION - Fisciano (Italy)
DESCRIPTION:From April 9 to 12\, 2024\, the 4th international event of the 
 CoGreenEU project took place in Fisciano\, Italy. The event centered on em
 powering young Europeans to reflect and act on green transition and sustai
 nability. The main activity\, "Participative Workshop: The role of Europea
 n citizens in the green transition and the European Green Deal\,"was held 
 on April 11. It focused on designing practical strategies to promote activ
 e citizenship aligned with the European Green Deal's goals.\n\nThis worksh
 op brought together participants from various nationalities to discuss the
  role of European citizens in the green transition. It explored key concep
 ts such as sustainability\, European citizenship values\, and the inclusio
 n of minorities in civic life. By the end\, participants developed practic
 al measures to encourage civic engagement and environmental responsibility
  within local communities.\n\n \n\n&nbsp\;\nSupporting Activities\nThe mai
 n workshop was complemented by additional activities:\n\n 	Intercultural H
 ackathon (April 9–10): Participants proposed creative ideas for civic pa
 rticipation in the European Green Deal\, focusing on minority inclusion. T
 eams produced a video explaining the Green Deal and a list of actions to e
 nhance engagement.\n 	Social Networks Contest (April 12): Teams created di
 gital campaigns to raise awareness about the Green Deal and encourage civi
 c participation through social media.\n\nKey Outcomes\n\n 	Increased aware
 ness of citizens' roles in the green transition.\n 	Highlighted the values
  of European citizenship and the importance of inclusivity.\n 	Developed a
 ctionable solutions for sustainability at the local level.\n\nThis event d
 emonstrated the transformative potential of active citizenship and interna
 tional cooperation in addressing climate challenges\, reinforcing the comm
 itment of young Europeans to building a sustainable future.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n
